UDP students arrived at ANCB and began working alongside students from Manchester School of Architecture and TU Braunschweig to create a diagram of temporary housing for refugees using Tempelhofer Feld.

In order to gain a different perspective of Berlin, UDP students then studied five subjects in groups of three. Over the course of three days each group focused on one of the following themes– parks, mobility, the river and its canals, the wall, and the monuments.

The assignment required students to record videos and take notes as they explored Berlin, which they then used in creating a poster and 3-minute video representing their research. Groups then collaborated to create a 15-minute video capturing unique aspects of Berlin.
