Final event of the kleine baumeister project RAUM.Erfahrungen
RAUM.Erfahrungen was a pilot project by kleine baumeister in early education that focused on spatial didactics and the sensuous perception of space with eight Berlin day-care centres that took place from September 2009 until September 2010 and was funded by the Berlin Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung. In this project, children and day-care teachers were invited to appreciate the sensual and aesthetic qualities of living space. Active perception processes were stimulated. Joint spatial experiments facilitated explorations of different uses, light, colour, material and space from the perspectives of all participants. This allowed for conclusions on the general importance of having suitable spaces for children.
