Cosy Concrete

The exhibition 'Cosy Concrete' shows an unusual way of designing the material concrete. Objects made of a material that tends to be considered cool, hard, unapproachable, become a source of warmth and comfort. Concrete becomes a material with individual design quality. Familiar ways of seeing and experiencing concrete are questioned in this exhibition, an ancient elementary building material is rediscovered for everyday things. Concrete is used to accentuate the topic of radiators in interior design in a new way. The exhibition is designed by the Berlin designer Max Kant. At the centre of the installation are objects from the company Bausteine Briest GmbH, which form a new platform for the realisation of ideas in concrete: Concrete Concept, CoCon. The exhibition at Savignyplatz invites visitors to linger in the cold season - with warmth, light, image and sound.

Kristin Feireiss, Berlin

Harald Dieckmann, managing director of Bausteine Briest GmbH,
