Accessibility and Services at Aedes Berlin
Location
Aedes Berlin is part of the Pfefferberg complex, which features cobblestone paving, making access only partially barrier-free. You can access the site at ground level via Christinenstraße or by using the elevator (available until midnight) on Schönhauser Allee. Vehicles are permitted to stop directly in front of the entrances to the exhibition and event spaces, as well as the café.

Accessibility of the Premises
Exhibition Spaces:
The first exhibition space is accessible via a ramp (2 steps, 35 cm height difference). While the reception counter cannot be lowered, communication is possible while seated. The second exhibition space requires ascending 5 steps (85 cm height difference) and does not have a ramp. Exhibition texts can be easily read from a seated position.
Event Spaces
The event spaces are fully accessible. The main entrance is at ground level, and the reception desk is designed for communication while seated. Wheelchair users and pedestrians can sit together.
Café
The café is accessible via a ramp (2 steps, 35 cm height difference).
Toilets
A barrier-free toilet is available at the Pfefferbett Hostel, approximately 70 metres away. It is open 24 hours and is accessible at ground level.

Aids and Orientation
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Aedes facilities.
Other
Admission to all exhibitions and events is free of charge.
