con_con 2003
The interdisciplinary exhibition project con_con: constructed connections builds new bridges from East to West; from housing estates and industrial zones to the waterside of Berlin; from art to architecture and urban planning. Twelve designs by international artists, architects and engineers: artengo-menis-pastrana, casagrande+rintala, beda faessler, fat architects, erik göngrich, tom heneghan, tadashi kawamata, mischa kuball, manu kumar, mathias kutterer, lab architecture studio, volker lang, ian liddell, susanne lorenz, marc mimram, muf architecture/art, olaf nicolai, wolfram popp, marjetica potrc, paulo providencia, thomas rentmeister, martin schmidt, christoph schonhoff, sissel toolas, rosemarie wagner, albert weis, riken yamamoto present existing and proposed bridges as communication platforms. Seven of these projects will be realised in the summer of 2004.
