Prof. Jo Coenen, Maastricht
The latest exhibition at Aedes will display three libraries of the dutch office
of Jo Coenen. These are the new Amsterdam City Library (design phase),
the Competition entry for the Bibliotheca Europea di Informazione e Cultura
in Milano (library concept) and the Centre Ceramique, City Library Maastricht
(finished project). Through the character of the different designs and their
respective design phase the visitor can participate in the design process.
The spectator can experience the process of planning from sketches and
models to finished presentations and pictures. Some other projects like the
residence of the Dutch embassador in Berlin or an Office-tower in
Düsseldorf will be shown as references, too.
